Biography

Ashleigh Delk (Lil Ash) is 11 years old was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Feb.8, 1996 to Petrina and Maurice (Big Reese) Delk. Ashleigh's passion has been music since the young age of two. At age seven, Lil Ash began her holy hip hop ministry. She's performed at various churches throughout Wisconsin such as Holy Reedemer, Philadelphia Church of God in Christ, Amazing Ministries and many more. Also, Lil Ash performed for the Preteen Pageant which she was selected to enter at age eight in Madison, Wisconsin. Young Ash performed for a big event, as well, at the Univerisity of Wisconsin Milwaukee at age nine, and again at Marquette University. The young artist has won several talent contests including a first place recently which was held at the Martin Luther King Community Center in Milwaukee. You may find this young lady performing at block parties during the summer. Last year was the beginning of this awesome adventure which Lil Ash has come to enjoy or you may find her performing at several carnivals! She's been interviewed on 1290 A.M. and 1560 A.M, and her music was played on those two, as well as Joy 1340 A.M. Lil Ash was selected as the Young Artist of the Year in Wisconsin at the Holy Hip Hop Connection Gospel Awards this year! She was very honored to accept her award and perform before many others that night! lil ash has collaborated with artists like octavia harris and loc saint.lil ash is the hotest gospel rapper in milwaukee. While Ashleigh's passion is reaching the world through Gospel Hip Hop, she has talent in acting, dancing, and singing. She's was the Honor Roll at Sixty-Fifth Street School in Milwaukee.Lil Ash has opened up for j moss and 21:03. Her dream is to do all for God and nothing for secular, to live a saved life and meet Dr. Bobby Jones. Over the last coupleof months,Lil Ash has taken three first place trophies and one third place trophy in competitions at the Martin Luther King Center and the Marimar Theatre in Milwaukee, Wi. Lil Ash give honor to her Savior Jesus Christ, first and foremost. Some of her role models and supporters are her parents, Trina and Big Reese, sister Kristel, brothers Maurice, Lance, and Markeese, Grandma and G-Pop, Auntie Kim, Uncle John, Auntie Dorian, Uncle Joe and Auntie Adrina, Joseph, Kino the godfather, Professor Wilson, Wesley, rappers such as E-Cross, E-Q, X-Large, don prophet, and Lil La La plus a host of other people.she now attends parklawn christian school. she now attends parklawn christian acedemy.she is training with john casablancas for modeling and actlng . lil ash has recorded over 67 songs over the last 3 years.and 3 albums in 8 months.lil ash has been on talent showcase on fox 6 .just imagine how she is going to sound at 20 years old!!!
