Biography

First of all I would like to give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for loving me throughout my life. I was born May 16th, 1975 to the wonderful Clifford Reaves and Jessie Griggs. Life for me has been very challenging, but I have endured the trials placed before me. My life at one point consisted of selling drugs, night clubs, and gangster rap. I can remember my grandmother saying "Boy if you had sight you would be just like your brother Clint”. That statement along with the love of friends changed my life. On July 9th, 2000 I decided to surrender all to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He opened the door at Spartanburg Technical College that very same year, and paved the way for me to receive my Associate Degree in Computer Technology. He allowed me to continue my educational journey at USC Upstate where I am currently majoring in Psychology and Nonprofit Administration. My Father has never placed anything on me that I couldn’t bare, and that is why my blindness has been a great thing throughout the last eighteen years of my life. A great number of people are encouraged to see some of the things that I am able to do, but all must understand that it is not I. God is the head of my world, and the things that I am able to do are through His amazing power. The devil may have placed blindness upon my physical body, but God has given me a spiritual light that no man will ever understand. I have truly come to understand that a Spiritual light is greater than a physical light. Remember, God has given His children dominion over all things.
