Biography

Sensational singer, experienced songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, G-Status, is taking his own style of gospel music with that hip hop flair, make you want dance to the beat and stomp your feet, music industry by storm.

As a full-time musician with an new millennial mix of moves, Jason have been singing since he was a tot, drumming since he was eight years of age, only to become head drumline officer in his high school marching band. Not only does this young man beat a mean drum, but he also is not stranger to mixing some of the tightest old school and new school beats sprinkled with some of his creative flavor, are sure to quench your appetite with some of gospel greatest mixes.

This young man started off in singing with R&B Group Ax'ent for a couple of years, where he then came to realize that it was something that God had called him to do and that was not to straddle the fence, and that’s where one of his biggest hits to date was derived from “Don’t keep Straddling that Fence.” He went on from there, still at the very young age of 14, Jason decided that he wanted to be signed to a company that fully concentrated on the sell and distribution of music that touched and changed lives so that’s when he started his own record label “TR Records and G-Status Productions.

Jason’s music is described as a cultural mosaic of rootsy - gospel music with a radio-friendly ease that captures the independent but true spirit of changing times.

It's his live shows, whether he's alone or with a group, you come to see the full impact of what his music is all about – a solid, soul-awakening vibe.
