The following is an introduction to some and an update to others about the Gospel Outreach Ministry of Brother Lou Acosta aka Brother Lew. Brother Lew has been called into ministry since 1988 and has ministered to over 100,000 people throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. For years Brother Lew has been actively working with many ministries in mentoring, discipling, and reproducing Holy Hip Hop Conferences, Showcases and Outreaches throughout the Midwest. As coordinator of the Midwest Gospel Hip Hop Alliance Brother Lew has united pastors, ministers, rappers and promoters in Artist Showcases, Conferences, & Concerts, to minister to area neighborhoods, detention centers, and community outreach centers. Brother Lew encourages pastors to utilize gifted rap ministers that come into their town to do the work of the Lord in the concerts, showcases, in the streets, the detention centers, the prisons and any other place that they can minister before heading back home. Brother Lew is currently working on his next album and second book.
